If you are suddenly faced with the sad task of organizing a loved ones funeral, you may find the process a bit overwhelming.
While many of the New Zealand funeral directors will take care of the funeral arrangements for the family, the general consensus is that they do a good job, but it is very much a “one size fits all” scenario.
If you wish to organize a funeral ceremony that is a bit different, or personalized to suit the bereaved family, or if the circumstances are such that the wishes of the deceased are being fulfilled, then the staff at The Celebration Studio will be able to advise you on the various options that are available to you.

Life Celebration
What better way to pay your respects to a loved one, than to celebrate the life they lived.
Barbara & Nicky have personal experience in organizing a Life Celebration for a loved one.
Prior to John passing (Barbara’s husband & Nicky’s Dad), after being diagnosed as terminally ill with cancer, the whole family sat down & planned John's Life Celebration (wake).
“It was very personal & it was an amazing experience to carry out Dad’s last wishes in such a tangible way” says Nicky, “I will be forever grateful that we were given the opportunity, even though it was a sad one, to celebrate Dad's life rather than focus on his passing”
If you are faced with the imminent passing of a loved one, you may wish to take the opportunity, while it is still possible, to discuss holding a Life Celebration & explore the last wishes your loved one may have.
